Church Fraud InvestigationsBusiness Services:
Church Fraud

Our job is to find the answers you need.

Churches and other worship centers are increasingly becoming victims of fraud. It’s an unfortunate reality that trusted leaders and staff use the generosity and trusting nature of churches to enrich themselves. While charity and compassion are hallmarks of faith, some people will use those attributes for selfish reasons. Regardless of where the funds might come from (offerings, benevolence funds, program funds, building funds, etc.) churches need to identify where problems originate and they need to take steps to prevent these type problems. Maintaining their positions as benevolent organizations is an important role of the churches, but increases the probability that they will become targets of opportunists. Church leaders have tremendous temptations and are often overlooked, even when suspected, because they maintain a trusted role in the church and community. While it may be the practice to 'forgive', churches need to understand that stealing is wrong and must be addressed.
